It is time to strengthen the Nordic foresight collaboration

On 6th of February was the day we had a kick-off for the Nordic Foresight Network. Considering everything that is happening in the world, the time is right.

Before the event we conducted a survey. The primary goal of the survey was to gather a diverse range of opinions and ideas on how the Nordic Foresight Network can best serve our region's needs, drive innovation, and address the challenges of tomorrow. The goal in the event was to start concretely forming collaboration based on the responses received.

Over 130 foresight professionals from all the Nordic countries registered for the event. It was great to see so many people interested and participating online. Our warmest thank you to all who took the time to join the event. We are on to something meaningful here.

There has been a small team from Futures Finland and Futures Sweden who have been preparing the initiative, but it has always been clear that we will expand the team as early as possible and want to develop the network together. First, we wanted to explore whether there is interest in the initiative, and once it became clear that there is, we moved forward.

During the event, we reviewed the survey on expanding the collaboration and discussed the next steps moving forward.
