We offer a unique opportunity for our members to visit VR Group on Wednesday 20th of March at 17.30- 19.00 to learn about their foresight and future work.

Tiina Honkanen, who works in the Customer Experience and Service Development unit of VR’s Long-distance traffic, will present together with her colleagues a few case examples of different types of future work in VR ranging from product development to strategic foresight.  We will also hear about the process VR uses in scenario planning to support their strategy work.

Tiina Honkanen works at VR’s Long-distance traffic, in the Customer Experience and Service Development unit. At VR, she is responsible for ancillary and door-to-door business and portfolio development. She is a futures enthusiast whose love for futures started in her early years with science fiction books and movies and has continued throughout her life; from futures workshops and Futures Day events to strategic foresight. She has been a member of Futures Finland since 2012 and started as a board member in November 2023. She and her colleagues at VR will host the event at VR’s main office in Pasila with Futures Finland.

The event will be held in hybrid mode and mainly in English. Come to VR’s main office in Pasila or join us online via MS Teams .
